MANSHU started its venture in distributing agro-products to customers and buyers across the country.
MANSHU empowers deprived communities by promoting entrepreneurship and strengthening skills for sustainable livelihoods, while establishing fair and transparent market networks to ensure just pricing for agro-products produced by marginalized and peasant indigenous communities.
These products include culturally rooted goods such as Rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa), locally known as “mesta” or “chuka”, Turmeric traditionally cultivated through jhum (shifting cultivation) in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), Bangladesh as a seasonal crop for household use and cultural practices, and Sticky Rice, a significant traditional product of the hilly indigenous communities, is cultivated through jhum (shifting cultivation) in the CHTs and harvested between April and May each year, holding deep cultural value.
